Lipstick is an Accessory (My Top 5 Winter Picks)
Nothing speaks Winter glam quite like spice hues. I’ve been overly obsessed for the past few months with wines and plums. To me, lipstick is ,more of an accessory than a makeup product. It’s also arouses the mood, if you’re feeling sexy, you can definitely find a color to attract attention to your lips or if you need a pick me up due to a hard days work, you can find a bold color to give those lips life HONEY! YASSSSSS, is what your audience will be chanting when those two ladies pucker up. However, do you know what colors complement your skin or better yet to you pick the correct colors for the season.????? The current makeup trend consist of lustful berries, vampy reds, daring wines, and moody spices. Please keep in mind, there’s no real science to picking out lip color, so don’t feel overwhelmed with my recommendations because if you try on a color you think looks good, then honey you should wear it. Here’s my edit on the best wine, berry, and vampy red shades.

Once you find your new go-to hue for the winter, here are a few tips to help extend the wear of your lip color:
• Line and fill in lips with a pencil that matches your natural lip color. The liner will act as a base color to hold your lipsticks and glosses in place longer. Plus, you’ll avoid that unsightly ring around your mouth as the lip color inevitably fades.
• To prevent the lip color from bleeding and to extend the wear of your lipstick, try a lip stain. It provides a great base prior to applying your lipsticks, and also works well under lip gloss.
• Keep lips moisturized at night with lip balm to prevent dry lips so that your lip color will adhere to lips better.
