Don’t Block Your Destiny

By  |

So many people, especially  myself, have come to places in our lives where we haven’t been before. And when you’re inexperienced in an area, your natural tendency is to move back into the familiar. However, I had to step out and find the right thing to do. We must allow God to order all our steps and make sure we hear him clearly. Trying to figure out how to do it yourself just won’t work.  God  is not slow in his promise but yet he is  patient and he doesn’t have to immediately answer when we ask, “Why aren’t things manifesting for me?” Faith means you won’t always have the answers when you want them but to know God is working. God is always on time and he is always right. Sometimes we have to look at the entire picture to understand what God is doing in our lives. Sometimes we may be surrounded by the wrong people and it’s interfering with God’s plan for you.  Leaving certain people in your life can block your destiny. We can block out God’s plan by our own decisions and God will do what is necessary to open your eyes. I remember crying my eyes out after God removed several people from my life in 2010, but at this time I wasn’t aware of what God was doing in my life.  God was “shearing” me like a tree! He was cutting away those old dead and overgrown branches to increase fruitfulness and growth in my life.  As I lost a branch a new one would grow and I became healthier, stronger, and the things I asked God for started to manifest in my life. Bottom line is we can’t figure things out on our own, use those doubtful times to bespeak your faith by trusting in God and his word.

When God declares something is over in your life, it has to be over. He has your best interest in every situation. You may not see it now but You will thank God later!!! Everything He does has a purpose. Don’t doubt Him!
