Motivation Monday: Be confident and live life

By  |

What is confidence?

Confidence is often defined as belief in oneself and one’s powers or abilities; self-confidence; self-reliance; assurance.  The enemy begins his assault on self-confidence wherever he can find an opportunity, especially when things are progressing in your life. His ultimate goal is to cause self-doubt in one’s abilities, a person without self-confidence will never fulfill the plan of God for his or her life. I suffered from self-confidence for many years  and  as a result it prevented me from stepping out on faith and sharing my gift with the world. It also caused me to lack appreciation for my own worth……this was all the enemy’s plan. If you don’t believe in yourself , who’s going too? God believes you, and it is a wonderful thing too, otherwise, you might never make any progress. We can’t always stand and wait for others to encourage us. So what is confidence? It’s a tool that can propel you to define and build your God-given destiny.

Building confidence is a choice

Confidence is something you decide to have. You will not move forward until you start to believe in yourself and build confidence in your abilities. Please don’t become discouraged when you fall short and don’t quit. No matter what is troubling you, don’t allow it to interrupt your plans. Dust your shoulders off!!! Your dreams of the future leave no room for the wounds of the past.  So if the enemy has been trying to convince you that you don’t measure up to the proper standard, remind him tonight to KISS YOUR TAIL, and no one is PERFECT and GOD loves you no MATTER WHAT!!!!!
