Chile………am I the only one who googled Jillian Michael’s personal training sessions after Kanye West’s. “FADE’ visual. Omg, omg,omg……………………………I immediately spit the yellow zinger I was eating into my hands!!! Let me tell you, I have made every plan to be in her shape by 2020. Now ya’ll know I have to be realistic here, cupcakes don’t fall too far from the tree; if you know what I mean honey. Teyana Taylor was flawless in the visual, her physique is perfect. It reminded me of “Flash Dance”, “She’s a maniac”. Someone help me, I need to find a trainer! Not any ole trainer, but someone who can give me the, “Teyana Taylor Special”, I’m not playing either…..I’ll be ready after Thanksgiving. For my husband’s next birthday or maybe the birthday after the next!! I”d like to perform the “Fade” routine for him, chile if I do it today it will be called, “Enhanced”, or maybe even, “Sharpened” stop laughing at me. But on a serious note, it’s important to take care of our bodies!!! I’m a bit of a slacker when it comes to my weight and that’s something I really need to work on. This girl loves to eat!!! God is working on me. I don’t care how many candles are on our birthday cake we should try to give at least 30 minutes a day. Let me tell you this,my energy has been sapped since I entered my 30’s and now that I’m approaching my 40’s my metabolism has slowed down. 6 years ago I was a size 4, yes a size 4, a brief moment of silence while I pout. I’m done!!!!!! I’ve been in total denial the past few years, back on and back off of diets and exercise routines. I know my midsection is big, but I always tell myself, “I’M BLOATED”. I have actually been sabotaging my own weight-loss efforts. Now, I’ll exercise and then treat myself with some buttermilk fried chicken afterwards. Teyana Taylor made me travel back to the days when I was prancing around with my best friend Jessica at Kappa Beach with a tank top and killer abs. Baby you couldn’t tell me nothing back then and not much today either, lol. I’m curvy and confident honey. However, I do need to make some changes in my life, though confident I can’t say I’m completely healthy. It’s a bit concerning for me. It’s just something else I need to implement in my extremely busy life. It’s time to take charge of our bodies and health ladies. Who wants to start a weight-loss group? Don’t you all raise your hands at one time……… I know we may say we’re too busy, or chile I don’t want to sweat my hair out, or eating right is too expensive…..don’t let excuses keep you from feeling your best, especially if it’s your goal. If your’re too busy. You don’t need the gym to keep in shape. Take your weights to work with you or maybe walk 10 minutes at lunch. Not all exercising will have your heart racing and head sweating. Talk to your stylist for options, I know the salt residue can leave strands dry and brittle. You don’t have to shampoo your hair each time, I mean it can be done. The next time you hear a voice in your head saying, “I can’t because………..think of some alternatives to meet your goals. Healthy living is a must. Taking charge of your health doesn’t have to be in the future. Let’s gain control of our lives!!!!! Damn Teyana look what you’ve started!!!! Can you say hashtag, #bodyofgold
