SFH Spring Fashion Show!

By  |

Style Follows Her hosted a fabulous Spring fashion show last Sunday at CATO Fashions in Grand Prairie, TX.

Whether you’re single, in a relationship, married, have kids, married with kids, or any combination from the list, at the end of the day, we’re all women (who are girls at heart). Playing in makeup, playing dress up, and walking in or sitting front row at a fashion show is exciting! Guests enjoyed light refreshments, and were able to browse the store before the show started.

Keeping it Mellow in Yellow

Tracy and Berty brought the sunshine in. These looks are great for brunch with the girls, a fun day of shopping, pool or day party.

Who Doesn’t Love A  Sundress?

I don’t care who you are, or what you do, there is just something magical about slipping into a soft, light and airy summer dress. Mother  Tanyanla and Skye are ready for whatever the day has in store for them with these looks.

Just Give Me the Night

Honey, Shonny, Joy and Skye  are ready for an evening of cocktails with their boo, followed by some live music and light dancing. You can add flare to these looks with a bold lipstick color and flashy accessories.

Casually Cute

The following looks provide a perfect example professional casual. These looks can easily be worn to work, social events dress, dinner parties, or a day of shopping and pampering.

Who run’s the world?

You know the answer, and Beyonce said it best, “Girls!…We’re smart enough to make the millions, strong enough to bear the children, then get back to business.” One of the preeminent realities of beauty and fashion, in relation to being a woman, is our ability to occupy the space and own our femininity, while simultaneously nurturing our families and households. Our models ranged from stay-at-home moms to mom-preneuers, they rocked these looks, and the category they fall in is neither hear nor there!

There were some door prizes available to be won, but, other than that, no games being played. This crowd meant business! It was a wonderful shopping experience, and a joy to see all of the  excitement  throughout the entire store.

DJ Lukwon Mack did his thang on the 1’s and 2’s. Seriously, it was hard to focused due to the mini jam sessions that broke out every time a song changed, and I do mean every time.

The glam squad consisted of stylist Ratisha Smith, who pulled the head turning looks for our models; and Sanaa and I did makeup.
